About Fit 2 Faith

Fit2Faith was born out of survival. I never set out to share it—this was personal, something meant just for me and my family. Outreach wasn’t the plan. But sometimes, necessity has a way of reshaping your purpose.

So let’s get to the why.

I didn’t know what real pain or struggle felt like until I was dropped into the middle of both. And when I made it to the other side—into real freedom—I knew I couldn’t just keep it to myself. Too many people are still stuck. I felt called to reach back and walk with others out of the dark.

A Brief Testimony

At 20 years old, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Up until then, life had come easy. I was a natural athlete—strong, healthy, confident—and I liked who I was becoming. But MS changed everything. My nervous system began attacking itself. My brain, speech, vision, and body all started breaking down. There was no cure, and no one could tell me why it was happening.

By the time I was 21, the doctors were preparing me for disability… and possibly death.

Spiritually, I was unprepared. I had a Catholic upbringing, but I wasn’t equipped for something like this. My faith felt shallow, my mind was unraveling, and I couldn’t find language for the weight I was carrying. I didn’t know I was dealing with anxiety and depression—but I was drowning in both, and I only knew I felt alone and lost.

I kept quiet. I didn’t seek further help because I was told there wasn’t any. I assumed I deserved it—as if I was being punished. But one thing kept me from giving up—my daughter. Her life gave me a reason to fight. I couldn’t let her future be shaped by the suffering I was buried in.

I didn’t know where to start. The doctors had no answers. The church certainly didn’t prepare me for this. And I realized something hard: many ordained leaders had titles, but not tools. So, as I was running out of time, I turned inward and upward.

I picked up a Bible—having no idea how to read it—and started systemically searching. I also started moving my body with purpose through fitness, lifting weights, and learning how to support my health with nutrition. I was injured a lot in those early years, physically and emotionally. But I kept going. The illness was real. The mental battles were brutal. But I didn’t stop.

It took twelve years.

Twelve years of fighting. Twelve years of healing. Twelve years of building, breaking, and rebuilding. But I came out the other side. I found freedom—physical, mental, and spiritual. Since 2006, I’ve walked in the freedom I once fought for, and the fight that began for my one child has grown into a life with five.

That’s what Fit2Faith is built on.

It meets you at the turning point—the moment you decide you’re not done. When you’re ready to train your body and listen to that small voice that says: I was made for more than just surviving. I was made to build.

I’ve worked with people across all ages—from youth to elders. And age has little to do with what I’m speaking toward.

If you had asked me during those dark years what I needed most—besides the love I found in Christ—I would’ve said: a sound mind.

I didn’t need peace to try. I needed to believe that trying could lead somewhere. I had to take control of my mind, silence the prison of fear and doubt, and just begin—just as I was. Once I did, I never looked back.

That’s what Fit2Faith is here to offer you as an experienced guide in that transformation doesn’t require perfection. It begins with a single step, a quiet yes to something deeper—one real moment at a time.
